Vice Chair– Dr. Dennis Magill
Dennis William Magill is Professor Emeritus, Department of Sociology, University of Toronto. He was the Director of University College’s undergraduate heath studies program. In recent years he has served on the board of directors of many organizations: Wellesley Central Hospital; Sherburne Health Centre; Rekai Centre for Long Term Care; Homewood Housing Co-op; and Toronto Historical Board, His present board commitments include Wellesley Institute; Wellesley Central Residents Inc.; Centre for Urban Health Initiatives, University of Toronto; and Community Campus Partnerships for Health, Washington University (Seattle).

Secretary– Bonnie Ewart
Bonnie Ewart of Toronto has over 30 years of experience in public service with the provincial and municipal governments. She was the Assistant Deputy Minister, Ministry of Community and Social Services as well as Commissioner of social and community services and acting Chief Administrative Officer for the Regional Municipality of Halton. Ewart was Chair of the Regional Commissioners of Social/Community Services of Ontario and a Director of the Ontario Training and Adjustment Board. She was a founding member of the McMaster University Steering Committee and a member of the Health and Social Development Committee of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, Canadian Council on Social Development and the Institute of Public Administration of Canada.

Member – Barbara Everett
Barbara Everett of Toronto works as an independent consultant for the federal government and national non-governmental organizations. She is currently cross-appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Everett has worked in both hospital and community mental health services in a variety of roles, including CEO of the Canadian Mental Health Association and as a social worker. Previously, Everett served on the board of Ontario Federation of Community Mental Health and Addiction Programs and was a member of the Ontario Health Providers Alliance. She is the author of two books and numerous articles. She holds a Master of Social Work and a Ph.D. in Sociology.

Member - Thomas Kennedy
Mr. Kennedy is a co-founder of Kensington Capital Partners Ltd. He has spent 10 years in operational and management positions with Consolidation Coal Co. and Alberta Energy Company. He has investment banking experience as a senior executive with Bunting Warburg, Lancaster and TD Securities. Mr. Kennedy serves on the Advisory Committee of Tricor Pacific LP III, TriWest Capital Fund II, Torquest Partners Value Fund L.P. and Kilmer Capital Fund L.P., and on the Board of Directors of Polymer Plainfield Holdings Inc. Mr. Kennedy is Chairman of the Board of Regent Park School of Music. He has served on the board of directors of Loft Community Services and Triax Growth Fund, as well as several public companies. Mr. Kennedy holds a B.Sc.Eng. (Mining) from Queen’s University and a D.B.A. from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and is a professional engineer.

Member– Harley Nott
Harley Nott is a lawyer who was for many years employed by the Federal Department of Justice as a litigator and prosecutor. A previous career in forestry on Vancouver Island was cut short by a serious spinal cord injury, which permanently necessitates that he uses a wheelchair for mobility. Nott currently volunteers on projects with the Rick Hansen Institute and has served in the past as a board member of the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and president of the Canadian Paraplegic Association.

Member - Anju Virmani (Kumar)
Ms Anju Virmani (Kumar) has been an adviser and consultant in information technology (IT) for more than 20 years in Canada and USA. She is currently Chief Information Officer for Cargojet Income Fund. Prior to this she was the founder and CEO of Bizness Matters Inc., based in California. She was also the founder and CEO of The SAPlementation Group, an SAP consulting company.
Virmani serves on the Advisory Council for National Security, a body that advises the Prime Minister on all issues related to National Security. She is also a member of the Cross Cultural Roundtable on Security.
Among other community involvements, Virmani serves on the board of TiE, The Indus Entrepreneurs, a global, non-profit organization that nurtures entrepreneurship through networking, mentoring and knowledge sharing. She has served on the Trade Committee of the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the board of Panorama India. Virmani holds a B.Sc and a B.Ed from the University of Delhi, India and an MBA from Baruch College, City University of New York. She has a keen interest in corporate governance and holds the designation of Charter Director, McMaster University.

Stephanie Coyles
Stephanie Coyles is a member of the Executive Committee at LoyaltyOne (formerly Alliance Data Loyalty Services) that works with more than 100 of North America’s leading brands in the retail, financial services, grocery, petroleum retail, travel and hospitality industries to profitably change customer behavior. Stephanie is responsible for enterprise development strategy (including M&A), product innovation, corporate branding and knowledge development and dissemination.
Stephanie was previously a senior principal with McKinsey & Company. In nearly two decades with the firm's Canadian consulting group, she tackled strategic challenges and helped boost bottom-line results for a wide array of North American retail (grocery and soft goods), financial services, telecom and consumer packaged goods companies. Her other achievements include establishing McKinsey's Canadian health care practice and publishing ground-breaking research on consumer loyalty.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree-Honors from Queens University and a Masters in Public Policy from Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Lloyd Komori
As Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for the Ontario Power Generation (OPG), Lloyd Komori provides the vision and leadership that drives OPG’s implementation of effective risk management activities across the corporation. As CRO he impacts an expansive range of activities across OPG including the prudent management of the corporation’s significant pension and nuclear funds and the oversight of major hydro and nuclear asset development projects. In addition, Lloyd is OPG’s Chief Internal Audit Executive, responsible for evaluating and reporting on management’s compliance with an array of internal governance and regulatory standards.
Prior to join OPG, Lloyd spent 24 years focused on managing risk and opportunity in corporate/investment banking, derivative trading and investment management industries. His experience also includes the development and leadership of a risk management consulting practice for one of the world’s largest consulting firms.
Lloyd is a member of the advisory board of the Strategic Risk Council, a Chartered Director, Audit Committee Certified, a standing member of the Committee of Chief Risk Officers, and has been a faculty member of the Director’s College since its inception.
